Yesterday, Victoria Mansion staff visited Boston’s Old North Church to see the work being done by Gianfranco Pocobene Studio to restore murals that had been painted over in the early twentieth century. They will be finishing the project soon so that everything will be ready for the upcoming 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride, which started with a lantern signal from the church tower.
The Studio has also done many projects around the Mansion. They are currently cleaning and restoring the painted walls of the Stair Hall. We appreciate their invitation to see this other exciting project of theirs as well!
