The Mansion has been popular fodder as of late! The release of the major motion picture Buttons, with Dick Van Dyke, Angela Landsbury, Jane Seymour and many other famous faces featuring the Mansion’s interiors brought us some great publicity. Buttons director Tim Janis stopped by WCSH’s show 207 to talk about this filming process. WMTW Channel 8 aired a brief segment featuring this year’s designers on Thanksgiving night and WGME Channel 13 provided great coverage with Kim Block stopping by to view the decorations as part of their Hometown Holiday series. 94.9 WHOM also created a fabulous photo montage of the Mansion and the Portland Press Hearlad covered our annual Christmas Gala in their Society Notebook.
We were also featured in a great article in Forbes Magazine, a festive photo montage in MaineToday, as well as Down East’s Maine Homes, Boston.com, and in a lovely piece on MacaroniKid.com.
