Join Victoria Mansion for a talk by Anne B. Gass, author of Voting Down the Rose and great-granddaughter of Florence Brooks Whitehouse, noted Maine suffragette. Enjoy an afternoon on the lawn (weather permitting) with light refreshments while Anne shares stories from her great-grandmother’s writings about this pivotal time in our country’s history. The author will also be available to sign copies of her book, available in the Carriage House Gift Shop for purchase.
